What's Closed on Veterans Day?
The holiday was founded to observe the anniversary of the World War I armistice.
Though Veterans Day is Sunday, Nov. 11 this year, here are some of the local facilities and services that will be closed on Monday for the holiday:
- Banks
- All U.S. Post Offices
- PennDOT Photo License Centers
- All Commonwealth of Pennsylvania courts and state offices
- All federal courts and offices
