Skimming Devince Found on Havertown ATM
The following information is provided by the Haverford Police Department.
According to a release from the Haverford Township Police Department, police responded to the following incidents:
Fraud at Wells Fargo Bank (1100 block of West Chester Pike) on August 29 at 9:30 a.m. - Bank manager reported he found a skimming device attached to the bank's ATM machine.
Fraud at the unit block of N. Belfield Avenue on August 30 at 2:40 p.m. - Victim reported numerous fraudulent charges on his credit card account.
Fraud at the 1800 block of Winton Avenue on September 2 at 4:15 p.m. - Victim reported that an unknown person made multiple purchases using her debit card without her permission or knowledge.

I am a resident of havertown in the manoa section and during a vacation in the first week of August my bank called to notify me I had been a victim of fraud. Some one got my card numbers and depleted my account. It put a damper on things and scary to know you not so safe anymore. I am still working thru this. You really have to watch what your doing,
