I had a chance to hear just a few minutes of the rehearsal on Friday night. Awesome. If you enjoy great music, if you have a young music student you'd like to inspire, or if you'd like to see some future stars of classical music you should seriously consider attending this concert.

These high school musicians have been working hard practicing on their own for months and together since Thursday. It is an intense three days working under an accomplished orchestra conductor. If what I heard during the rehearsal Friday night is any indication-you will be blown away. And five bucks for a concert like this is a GREAT deal. It would cost you four times that much just to park for an event at the Kimmel Center.

Congratulations to Haverford High School, HHS Music Director Joe Brennan, the HBOPS (Haverford band and Orchestra Parents) parent volunteers and the HHS musicians for being selected and hosting such a great event!
