Police Respond to Two Public Drunkenness Reports
The following information comes from the Haverford Township Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
According to a release from the Haverford Township Police Deparment's website, police responded to the following incidents between July 26 and August 1.
Liquor Law Violation at the 200 block of David Drive on July 27 - a juvinile was cited for underage drinking.
Public Drunkenness at Darby Road and Hillcrest Avenue on July 27 - Police were dispatched for a male urinating in a yard. Upon arrival officers observed a subject matching the description staggering down the street. According to police a 46-year-old Haverford man was found highly intoxicated and was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Vandalism at the 200 block of Brookline Boulevard on July 27 - two large flower pots were overturned on the victim's lawn.
Public Drunkenness at the 900 block of Darby Road on July 29 - Victim reported that an unknown person entered his residence and was refusing to leave. A 22-year-old Haverford man was found unable to stand without assistance, had glassy bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He was taken into custody and cited for public drunkenness.
Fraud at the 300 block of Glen Ridge Road on July 31 - An unknown person made multiple purchases using the victim's bank card without his permission or knowledge.
