Police Respond to Theft of Laptop, Baby Food
The following information comes from the Haverford Township Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
According to a release on the Haverford Police Department's website, police responded to the following incidents of theft between July 26 and August 1:
Theft at Professional Health Services (unit block of S. Eagle Road) on July 26- $75 worth of copper wiring and an electric plug were removed from the above location.
Theft at the unit block of N. Morgan Avenue on July 26 - Unlocked vehicle was entered and a Coach-brand purse and twenty dollars was stolen.
Attempted Theft at the 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue on July 26 - a male attempted to steal over $500 worth of baby formula. The subject fled on foot as store employees approached him.
Theft at Haverford College (300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue) on July 27 - laptop was stolen from an unlocked dorm while the victim was sleeping.
Retail Theft at Super Fresh (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on July 30- Three males fled the store with numerous cans of baby formula.
Retail Theft at Radio Shack (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on July 30- Two males stole iPhone accessories and then fled the store.
Theft at the 1300 block of Virginia Avenue on July 31- cement lion was stolen from the victim's driveway.
Motor Vehicle Theft at the 200 block of Glen Gary Drive on July 31- Victim reported that someone stole his motorcycle from a secured shed.

I feel bad for those victims, however, I don't feel bad for those idiots who did not lock their doors. Not that it should have happened, but it does serve the right.
