Police Blotter: Woman Sees Bald Man In Her Home

INCIDENTS:

Identity Theft at the unit block of Sycamore Road on 1/25 at 7:45 a.m. — Victim reported that someone opened a cable account without her permission or knowledge.

Burglary (no force) at the 700 block of Railroad Avenue on 1/26 at 9:48 p.m. — Unknown persons entered the residence and stole a laptop, laptop charger, camera and a wallet containing cash, credit cards and gift cards.  

Theft at the Brookline Parking Lot (unit block of Brookline Boulevard) on 1/26 at 9:29 a.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — Kindle was stolen.

Theft at the 1400 block of Fairview Avenue on 1/26 at 12:56 p.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — loose change was stolen.

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 1/26 at 8:30 p.m. — Robert Ford, 35, 3500 block of Scott Lane, Philadelphia, was cited for the retail theft of $37 worth of merchandise.

Burglary (attempt) at the 700 block of Railroad Avenue on 1/27 at 6:52 p.m. — A witness reported that a black male was trying to enter their neighbor's house before running off. The officer observed the dead bolt locking mechanism was damaged.

Narcotics at the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on 1/27 at 10:20 p.m. — While patrolling the parking lot the officer conducted an occupied vehicle investigation. A white 17-year-old male had a small clear plastic bag containing marijuana and a smoking pipe in plain view. The juvenile was arrested and charged.

Liquor Law Violation at the unit block of Media Avenue on 1/27 at 10:03 p.m. — Police responded to the above location for an underage drinking party. A white 15-year-old male was cited for underage drinking.

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 1/28 at 7:37 p.m. — Julie Kasa, 57, 300 block of S. Carol Boulevard, was cited for the retail theft of $128 worth of merchandise.

Criminal Mischief at Angelo's Ironworks (unit block of W. Eagle Road) on 1/28 at 6:51 p.m. — Victim reported that two of his vehicle tires were deflated.

Theft at the unit block of Media Avenue on 1/29 at 12:15 p.m. — Victim reported that her wallet containing $100, ATM card, identification and gift cards was stolen while she attended a party. 

Vandalism at the 300 block of Oxford Road on 1/29 at 3:46 p.m. — A driver side mirror on the victim's vehicle was broken off.

Theft at the 100 block of S. Manoa Road on 1/28 at 11:39 a.m. — Vitim reported that a Hispanic female knocked on her door and stated she needed to check her water supply for possible contaminants. Once the subject was inside she began talking to a second person via phone/radio and she became suspicious. She later noticed money missing from her wallet.

Burglary at the unit block of Grove Place on 1/30 at 7:07 p.m. — Victim reported that she observed an unknown bald male in her residence. The unknown male gained access to the residence through a rear window and stole a purse containing, identification, credit cards and a small amount of money. 

Attempted Burglary at the unit block of Grove Place on 1/30 at 8:43 p.m. — Victim reported that she discovered her kitchen window was ajar and damaged. Entry was not made into the residence.

Attempted Burglary at the unit block of Grove Place on 1/30 at 7:58 a.m. — Rear screen was cut and removed from the window. It did not appear that entry was gained.

Theft at Quest Diagnostics (900 block of Haverford Road) on 1/30 at 4 p.m. — A bank card was stolen from an unattended purse.

Fraud at the 800 block of Earlington Road on 1/30 at 4:49 p.m. — Victim reported that someone opened a credit card account and a cell phone account without her permission or knowledge.

Criminal Mischief at Boyles Automotive (unit block of W. Eagle Road) on 1/30 at 9:05 a.m. — Vehicle tire was punctured on the side wall.

Vandalism at the 2700 block of St. Mary's Road on 1/30 at 12:19 p.m. — The shed in the rear of the property had a window shot out by a pellet style gun.
