Overnight Lane Closure on I-476 In Havertown Exit

PennDOT recently announced an overnight lane closure will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., June 10-14, along Interstate 476 in Haverford, Marple and Radnor townships.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will replace worn bridge joints next week on northbound and southbound Interstate 476 between Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Marple, Haverford and Radnor townships.

During the operation, one lane will be closed on northbound and southbound I-476 on Sunday through Thursday (June 10-14) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.

The work is part of PennDOT’s $4,142,600 project to repair and replace bridge joints on various highways in the Philadelphia region. A.P. Construction, Inc. of Blackwood, N.J., is the general contractor on the 100 percent state financed project.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
