NWS: Havertown To See Hot Temps For Thursday

The heat index may climb to 102 degrees.

 

The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a high of a possible 98 degrees for Thursday, with a heat index expected to climb as high as 102 degrees.

For the second day in a row, the NWS has issued an excessive heat warning.

Thursday night's low might be around 77 degrees, stated the NWS.

For Friday, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, where "gusty" winds and heavy rain are possible, the NWS stated. The high for Friday might be near 94 degrees.
