New Backyard Addition Could Come to Havertown

The township's zoining board is meeting on Oct. 4.

 

A new minor residential development could be coming to the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Havertown.

According to a release from the Haverford Township zoning hearing board, the board will review an application for a back yard addition at 1315 Roosevelt Avenue at its October 4 meeting.

The application, which was submitted by Francis and Linda McCabe, asks for a five-foot setback variance if their back yard addition is approved.

The zoning hearing board will meet on October 4 at 7:45 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room at 2325 Darby Road.

I saw this on cnn.com this morning and am still in shock. Five feet just seems like a lot to me. Needless to say, the zoning board meeting on Oct. 4th can't come fast enough.
