Haverford Township leaf collection for the fall is underway.
Residents should place their leaves at the curb, but not on the street, according to a release from the township. Waste should be out by 6:30 a.m. on Monday during collection week.
Here's the schedule for collection:
- The week of Nov 5: Wards 5, 6, 7 and 8
- The week of Nov 12: Ward 9 and state roads
- The week of Nov 19: Wards 1 and 2
- The week of Nov 26: Wards 3 and 4
- The week of Dec 3: Wards 5 and 6
- The week of Dec 10: Wards 7 and 8
- The week of Dec 17: Ward 9 and state roads.

DON'T PUT YOUR LEAVES IN THE STREET. THEY CLOG THE DRAINS PUT THEM IN FRONT OF THE CURB.

Do we know when ward 8 will have a pickup? It was scheduled this week and they have not come to get the leaves. I would like to know the day since I now have to go back and remove all the leaves that have blown back on the yard. Thank you.
