Parents and educators are encouraged to attend a free talk on bullying and autism at Lynnewood Elementary School on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
The talk, in recognition of National Bullying Awareness Month, is sponsored by the Haverford Township Rotary Club and the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. Light refreshments and information about local autism support groups will also be available after the talk.

According to the most recent estimates, 1 in 110 individuals has an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Susan E. Levy, M.C., a developmental pediatrician At Children' Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) whose work with children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder is recognized by nationally and internationally, will speak at the Lynnewood Elementary School on Oct. 25 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. The Lynnewood school is on Lawrence Road near Eagle Road in Havertown.
