Havertown Resident Cited for Public Drunk in Ardmore

A Havertown resident was cited with public drunkenness by Lower Merion police after an exchange at Brownies in Ardmore.
According to a report from Ardmore Patch, the 21-year-old Havertown resident was stopped outside Brownies 23 East about 1:25 a.m. Aug. 9.
The resident was reportedly having difficulty standing up and was determined to be a danger to himself, police said.
He was taken to police headquarters and upon sobering was issued a citation for public intoxication, police said.
