Haverford Police Report Pair of Paintball Attacks in the Township
Teens were shot on November 21, then a jogger was fired at on November 26.
The following incident reports were provided by the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrest does not suggest conviction.
Retail Theft at Game Stop (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on November 21 at 4:02 p.m. A white male stole a Playstation 3 video game system and fled the store.
Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on November 21 3:50 p.m. Steven S. Smith Jr., 25, of the 6600 block of Yocum Street, Philadelphia, was cited for the retail theft of $76 worth of merchandise.
Theft at the 100 block of N. Concord Avenue on November 21 at 9:25 a.m. An unlocked vehicle was entered and loose change was stolen.
Simple Assault at the 2000 block of W. Darby Road on November 21 at 10:51 p.m. A group of juveniles reported they were struck with paintballs from a passing car.
Liquor Law Violation at Haverford High School (200 block of Mill Road) on November 21 at 9:07 p.m. Police responded to the Homecoming Dance at Haverford High School for numerous juveniles under the influence of alcohol. Six juveniles were cited for underage drinking and released to their parents. Three of them were treated at the hospital for alcohol poisoning. One juvenile was verbally abusive and combative towards police and was cited for underage drinking, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Liquor Law Violation at the Grange Field (800 block of Myrtle Avenue) on November 21 at 8:12 p.m. Sean A. Debarberie, 18, of the 200 block of Brentwood Road, was cited for underage drinking.
Theft at Maloney's Pub (2600 block of County Line Road) on November 22 at 5:15 a.m. A safe containing approximately $1,500 and register receipts was stolen from the office. The safe was later recovered and the cash was missing.
Theft at the 300 block of Pheasant Hill Drive on November 22 at 12:38 p.m. Two vehicles were entered and loose change was stolen.
Theft at Upland Road and Maryland Avenue on November 23 at 4:40 p.m. Police received a report of a stop sign down. Upon arrival the sign was missing.
Theft at the 1700 block of Lawrence Road on November 23 at 8:24 p.m. Unknown person removed a set of three lighted candy canes from the victim's lawn.
Criminal Mischief at Orsini's Auto Body (2500 block of Haverford Road) on November 24 at 7:39 a.m. Graffiti was discovered on the rear of the building.
Theft at Enterprise Rent - A- Car (2500 block of Haverford Road) on November 24 at 8:32 a.m. An employee reported that four vehicles had emblems removed from the hood and grille. One vehicle side rearview mirror was removed.
Theft at Sunrise Assisted Living (3300 block of Darby Road) on November 24 at 9:01 p.m. A victim reported that $40 and a debit card was removed from his wallet.
Identity Theft at the 700 block of College Avenue on November 24 at 4:50 p.m. A victim reported that an unknown person opened a Direct TV account using his identity.
Vandalism at Pinzon Avenue and West Chester Pike on November 24 at 10:52 p.m. A vehicle was egged.
Vandalism at Bryn Mawr Terrace on November 25 at 9:52 a.m. A side tail light was shattered.
Bicycle Theft at the unit block of Hannum Drive on November 26 at 4:17 p.m.
Theft at the 300 block of Walnut Place on November 2 at 9:06 p.m. Three unlocked vehicles were entered and loose change was stolen.
Theft at the 800 block of Grove Place on November 26 at 12:39 p.m. Avehicle was entered and loose change was stolen.
Simple Assault at the 800 block of Ardmore Avenue on November 26 at 7:23 p.m. A victim reported that she was stuck by three paintballs while she was jogging.
Vandalism at the 1600 block of E. Darby Road on November 26 at 7:45 a.m. Police discovered graffiti in more than five locations along Darby Road.
Theft at the unit block of E. Marthart Avenue on November 27 at 6:51 p.m. Two iPads and a necklace were taken from the residence.
Theft at the unit block of Campbell Avenue on November 27 at 9:50 a.m. An Unlocked vehicle was entered and five CDs were stolen.
