The Haverford Music Fest has announced that its 2012 headlines will be Blackthorn and John Flynn.
The festival, which is now in its second year, is an all day, family-oriented, Haverford-based event that boasts "continuous live music."
“Now that we are in our second year, we're able to attract bigger names," Tom Kelly, Haverford Music Festival’s Director, said in a release. "Blackthorn and John Flynn are two of the biggest names on the Philly music scene and they're coming to Havertown."
Kelly said in the statement that the festival has moved it end time back to 9:30 p.m. this year to accomodate the expected extra fans the two groups will draw.
Additionally, the festival will offer free admission to all venues from noon to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 15 in the Oakmont business area of Havertown.
Music is staged on Darby Road and behind the Oakmont building on Eagle Road. Vendors line the streets between.
More information is available on the festival website.
