Haverford’s Brendan Hansen will compete in the 100-meter breaststroke finals on Sunday after advancing to the final round on Saturday, according to the 2012 Olympics website.
Hansen won the eight spot in the eight-man final after finishing the 100-meter with a time of 59.78.
Area residents can watch Hansen compete for the gold at 11 a.m. on Sunday on NBC.
