Cute story. On the topic of street lights, I simply can't stand the light that is given off from these new LED or fluorescent lights, particularly while driving. I prefer mercury vapor or pressurized sodium lights hands down, only type I use in my yard. Plus, i think the mercury vapor lights tend to make gardens and lawns appear greener. . .
