Are You Avoiding Eagle Road?
Construction will be taking place on the road through October.
With construction limiting lanes on N Eagle Road in Haverford, motorists may want to look for alternative ways through the township.
To head north without taking Eagle Road, motorists have the option of staying on West Chester Pike westbound and turning left on to Lawrence Road to head north through the Haverford Area.
Alternatively, divers could take West Chester Pike to Manoa Road, then turn left on Darby Road to catch Eagle north of the construction.
Is the construction getting in your way? Do you alter your route to get around construction when you know about it? Tell us in the comments.

I use Earlington almost exclusively. You can literally drive 65 mph the entire time. The cops set up speed traps once a month or so, but even when they do they hardly pull anyone over. I went through it last month going about 50 and they didn't even blink an eye. you HAVE TO be careful of the idiots backing out of their driveways though. I almost T-Boned a minivan the other day going about 55. Good Luck!

This doesn't make any sense--the only way to go through Haverford making a left onto Lawrence Rd is going eastbound on WCP--not westbound. Also--you have a typo in 3rd paragraph--should be drivers not divers.

you are correct with the directions above. Anyone following the article's directions would find themselves totally lost in Marple Township before they realize they have been had. Thanks for the corrections.
