Students at Haverford Middle School and Haverford High School collected food for needy families in our community. Faculty and students donated food items, gift cards and cash for food that will be delivered to over 40 local families before the Thanksgiving holiday. At the Middle School, the Student Council coordinated the effort with their Advisor, Jason Langin. At the High School, District Social Workers, Kathleen McAndrews and Jocelyn Drucis coordinated the effort. The 5th grade Girl Scout Troop at Lynnewood Elementary, also collected food for the effort. Ms. McAndrews and Ms. Drucis will deliver the food this week.
