HAVERTOWN— Haverford Middle School Student Council members spent their Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Samuel Gompers Elementary School in Philadelphia. The students joined over 1000 volunteers who worked with City Year Philadelphia for a Day of Service. Students painted a mural.

So proud of my niece - Haley Stokes - who really looks forward to the Day of Service. And thank you Mr. Langin for the encouragement and leadership you show these children. Priceless lessons! (Sorry Haley if I embarassed you, but the entire HMS Student council deserves to be recognized for great work!)
