HAVERTOWN— Cheerleaders at Haverford Middle School worked hard on Monday to prep the Middle School for the annual Potter Cup to be held on Friday, January 18.  The Cheer squad covered the school with posters and practiced their routine.  

The Potter Cup is an annual contest between Haverford Middle School and Paxon Hollow Middle School in boys and girls basketball and wrestling. Students also participate in a pep rally including the cheerleaders and faculty dance teams. Both schools use the event to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which funds cancer research.  Over the last nine years the middle school students have raised nearly $250,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
